Tile Installation

Every tile set perfectly.
Every grout line true.

Good tile work is invisible. You notice the beautiful pattern, the clean lines, the way the light plays across the surface. You don't notice the precision layout work underneath. Christopher brings the same obsessive attention to detail to tile installation that he brings to every flooring project, from surface preparation and waterproofing through the final grout seal.

  • Ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile
  • Glass tile and large-format tile installation
  • Bathroom floor and shower tile specialists
  • Custom patterns, layouts, and diagonal installs
  • Proper waterproofing membranes where required
  • Grout sealing included on every project

Waterproofing included where needed — all bathroom and wet-area tile work includes proper waterproofing membrane installation to protect your home for the long term.

Tile Types

Every tile material, expertly installed.

From budget-friendly ceramic to premium natural stone, we work with the full range of tile materials. Not sure which is right for your space? We'll talk through the options at your free estimate.

Ceramic Tile

Versatile, affordable

The most widely used tile material for good reason. Ceramic is durable, comes in an enormous range of colors and patterns, and is easy to clean. It's an excellent choice for any dry or low-moisture floor area.

Character Practical, colorful, easy to maintain
Best for Kitchens, living areas, entryways, mudrooms

Porcelain Tile

Dense, hard, durable

Fired at higher temperatures than ceramic, porcelain is denser, harder, and nearly impervious to water. It stands up to heavy foot traffic and freezing temperatures, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

Character Premium, tough, water-resistant
Best for Bathrooms, high-traffic floors, entryways, outdoor areas

Natural Stone

Travertine, marble, slate

Every natural stone tile is unique. Travertine, marble, slate, and limestone each bring organic beauty and one-of-a-kind character that no manufactured product can replicate. We handle sealing and care guidance included.

Character Luxurious, unique, natural
Best for Master bathrooms, entryways, feature floors, luxury spaces

Large Format Tile

24x24 inches and up

Large format tiles create a seamless, expansive look with fewer grout lines. The result is a clean, contemporary aesthetic that makes rooms feel larger. Requires precise subfloor preparation for a flat installation.

Character Modern, seamless, spacious
Best for Open-plan spaces, modern kitchens, master baths

Subway and Mosaic

Classic, detailed patterns

Subway tile brings timeless style to any bathroom or kitchen backsplash. Mosaic tile opens up creative pattern possibilities, from simple borders to intricate feature walls. We install both with precision and care.

Character Classic, detailed, customizable
Best for Shower surrounds, backsplashes, feature walls, borders

Glass Tile

Luminous, reflective

Glass tile reflects light in a way no other material can match. Used as an accent, a full feature wall, or a shower surround, glass tile adds a luminous, upscale feel to any bathroom or kitchen.

Character Luminous, premium, light-enhancing
Best for Shower surrounds, backsplashes, accent strips, spa bathrooms

Custom patterns and layouts available. Whether you want a classic offset brick pattern, a diagonal layout, or an intricate custom design, we plan and execute it to perfection.

How It Works

Precision from substrate to grout.

Great tile work starts well below the surface. Our five-step process ensures every layer is done right, so your tile looks perfect and holds up for decades.

01

Free Consultation & Material Selection

Christopher visits your home, evaluates the space, and helps you select the right tile material, size, and pattern for your project. We'll bring samples and discuss layout options at no cost.

02

Surface Preparation & Waterproofing

The surface beneath tile must be perfectly flat, solid, and — in wet areas — properly waterproofed. We handle all underlayment, leveling, and waterproofing membrane work before a single tile is placed.

03

Layout & Pattern Planning

We dry-lay the tile before any adhesive is applied, working out the pattern, centering the layout in the room, and planning cuts around obstacles. Getting this right visually before committing is what separates a good tile job from a great one.

04

Precision Tile Setting

Each tile is set with the appropriate adhesive or thin-set mortar, carefully aligned with consistent grout joint spacing. We use spacers and levels throughout to keep every row perfectly true.

05

Grouting, Sealing & Walkthrough

After the adhesive cures, we grout and clean every joint, then apply a sealer to protect against staining. We walk the completed installation with you before we leave — you don't pay until you're completely satisfied.

“Chris and his team did an amazing job with the beautiful hardwood flooring in our kitchen and living room renovations! We have a circa 1829 stone home with original hardwood floors throughout so it was very important to us to keep the integrity of this old house. Right from the start Chris took the time to discuss the many options and once the decision was made, he personally worked on and supervised our project alongside his talented team. Now that our project is completed, Chris has still made himself available for finishing touches and any questions. We would highly recommend Chris and his team of talented craftsmen!!! Very happy with the results and we know that if something might come up in the future, Chris will stand behind his work and assist in any way he can.”

Common Questions

Everything you need to know.

Still have questions? Call Christopher directly at (267) 378-1964 — he's happy to talk through your specific project.

What types of tile do you install?

We install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (travertine, marble, slate, limestone), glass tile, large-format tile, subway tile, and mosaic tile. Whether you're after a classic look or something bold and contemporary, we work with the full range of materials and can help you find the right choice for your project and budget.

How long does tile installation take?

Tile installation timelines vary by project size and complexity. A standard bathroom floor typically takes one to two days. A larger kitchen floor or shower surround may take two to four days. Custom patterns, large-format tile, or natural stone installations that require special care will take longer. We'll give you a specific timeline during your free estimate.

Do you handle waterproofing for bathrooms and showers?

Yes. Proper waterproofing is not optional in wet areas, and it's something we handle as a standard part of every bathroom tile project. We install waterproofing membrane systems behind shower walls and in wet floor areas before any tile goes up. This protects your home from water damage and is what separates a professional tile installation from a DIY one that fails in a few years.

Can you create custom tile patterns?

Absolutely. We can execute any layout pattern you choose: straight set, offset brick, herringbone, diagonal, chevron, basketweave, pinwheel, and more. We'll dry-lay the pattern before committing so you can see exactly how it will look. If you have a specific design in mind, bring photos and we'll make it happen.

What is grout sealing and why does it matter?

Grout is porous and will absorb liquids, oils, and dirt if left unsealed. Over time, unsealed grout discolors and becomes nearly impossible to clean. We apply a penetrating grout sealer on every project as a standard step. This creates an invisible barrier that repels stains and makes your grout much easier to maintain for years to come.

Can tile be installed over existing tile?

In some situations, yes. Installing over existing tile is possible if the current tile is firmly bonded, level, and the added height won't create problems with doors, transitions, or appliances. However, if the existing tile has any loose, hollow, or damaged areas, those need to be addressed first. We assess your specific situation and give you an honest recommendation during the estimate.

What areas of the home do you install tile in?

We install tile in bathrooms (floors, showers, tub surrounds), kitchens (floors and backsplashes), entryways, mudrooms, laundry rooms, and outdoor areas. Tile is an excellent choice anywhere you need a durable, water-resistant surface that's easy to maintain and looks great for decades.
